Lengths of Time of Rice Husk Biochar Incorporation before Planting Affect Soil Properties and Rice Yield

نویسندگان

چکیده

A factor that causes inconsistencies in rice yield receiving biochar reported the literature has been identified as length of time after incorporation into soil prior to planting. There is limited information on effect varying lengths properties and growth. This study aimed determine effects husk (RHB) an acidic paddy before transplanting yield. greenhouse experiment was conducted using a highly weathered subjected periods RHB at various lengths, including 0, 15, 30, 60 days (DBT). The under moisture content 70% water holding capacity. At harvest (98 incorporation), increases led significantly higher Mg, Mn, Si concentrations, but lower Ca Fe concentrations whole shoots. Increasing DBT decreased total grain 61.4 g hill−1, 62.5 54.4 respectively, compared 76.0 hill−1 found 0 DBT. depression with increasing due antagonistic Mg Fe. Immediate without period recommended for its use amendment soils.
